How Anonymous Chat Works
Anonymous chat lets people have real-time conversations without creating a public profile. Understanding how matching, privacy, and safety features work can help you use the service more responsibly.
1. What anonymous chat means
On RANDZO, you do not need to publish a real name or public profile to start an ordinary conversation. The service uses an anonymous account identifier behind the scenes so it can operate authentication, matching, and chat sessions.
2. How matching works
After confirming that you are 18 or older, you choose your gender, who you want to meet, and your interests. RANDZO places you in a matching queue and looks for another available user whose selected preferences are compatible. When a match is found, both users enter a private chat session.
Matching preferences help the system find a suitable conversation partner, but they do not guarantee a particular personality, location, age beyond the service's 18+ requirement, or behavior.
3. Why anonymous does not mean untraceable
Anonymous chat is different from being completely invisible online. Authentication, hosting, security, and network infrastructure can process technical information needed to provide and protect a service. RANDZO therefore does not promise that internet activity is impossible to associate with technical information.
4. What you should keep private
- Do not share passwords, verification codes, or private account credentials.
- Do not share financial information, payment details, or banking information.
- Do not share your home address or precise location.
- Think carefully before sharing your full name, phone number, workplace, school, or social-media accounts.
- Never send intimate images or other sensitive material to strangers.
5. Use the safety controls
If a conversation is uncomfortable or inappropriate, you can leave it. RANDZO provides Next to move to another stranger and End to stop the current conversation. The Report and Block controls are available when another user violates the rules or makes you uncomfortable.
6. Anonymous chat still requires good judgment
A stranger may provide false information, attempt a scam, or behave inappropriately. Do not assume that a person is trustworthy because the conversation feels friendly. Avoid moving conversations to other platforms simply because someone pressures you to do so, and stop communicating when something feels wrong.
